My story…from the Corporate Office to a Franchise Owner
In 2011, after nearly 14 years serving in various capacities at The ServiceMaster Company corporate headquarters in Memphis, Joey Marsh officially became owner of ServiceMaster by Riverside on November 1, 2011.

“After working for over a decade supporting franchise owners, I became a franchise owner myself,” said Joey. “I think that’s the most powerful endorsement of the brand that you can get. When someone is willing to invest their own money into representing ServiceMaster Clean, it shows a tremendous belief in the brand.”

Having supported franchise owners for so long and now being one himself, it offers Joey and the rest of ServiceMaster by Riverside a unique perspective into what it takes to provide memorable customer service that will hopefully have you telling everybody you know how good your customer experience was with ServiceMaster by Riverside.

How Quickly Do You Respond?

A ServiceMaster IICRC Certified Technician will be on site within 2 to 4 hours. After hours or weekend response is 2 to 4 hours.

Will You Bill My Insurance?

Yes, once you have filed a claim and receive a claim number for a covered loss we will follow your insurance company’s guidelines for loss mitigation and submit a bill upon completion.

How Long To Dry?

Drying times can vary widely depending on the scope of work and job severity. On average, we can successfully return the affected area(s) to a pre-loss condition in 3-5 days.


Do I Pay Upfront?

No, only a deposit is required to begin work. The remaining balance is due upon completion. The deposit is usually between $250 and $500 dollars but can be higher depending on the size of the job.

What Equipment Do You Use?

ServiceMaster will use a combination of “Air Movers” and “Dehumidifiers” using cutting edge technology to meet or exceed IICRC drying standards. The appropriate number and combination of drying equipment will be determined by the onsite technician.

Turn Off At Night?

No, all equipment must be left on at all times. Turning off the equipment will only delay the drying process.
